The Toronto Raptors have competed in some barnstormer affairs in the 2019-20 NBA season. What are the top three games of the season so far?
With the NBA on an indefinite hiatus, it’s time to reflect on the season as a whole. For the Toronto Raptors, they stepped into the 2019-20 NBA season as the reigning NBA champions – still living off the high of their first-ever title last season, they were ready to defend their crown.
It wouldn’t be easy, though. The Raptors were without Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green after both elected to join the Los Angeles Lakers and the LA Clippers – both teams had fully retooled and were ready to challenge for the championship.
The Milwaukee Bucks would be back and stronger than before too, and Giannis Antetokounmpo was ready to take them to the promised land and win back-to-back MVP titles in the process. The NBA was full of elite competition, even if those three teams stood above the rest.
When the season was suspended, the Raptors sat second in the Eastern Conference with a record of 46-18 and had already secured a spot in the playoffs. The season, at times, was tumultuous due to injuries, but the Raptors persisted more than ever.
Just about every big name on the roster had missed some sort of time during the season, but they still won on a nightly basis, putting forward some incredible performances in the process. That’s why we’re here, to pick the three best games of the season so far.
The number one game is probably evident, but what about the rest?
