At my number one and the final spot, I have arguably the team’s most important player, Pascal Siakam. What a couple of years it has been for this man right here, from helping lead the Toronto Raptors to their first NBA title in franchise history, to winning MIP (Most Improved Player), to increasing his career stat lines this season. You can say it has been a great last two seasons for Siakam.

Siakam needs to play to the best of his ability in these eight regular-season games and into the playoffs for one simple reason, he’s the team’s primary scorer. Without Siakam generating on the offensive side it hurts the Toronto Raptors but it will never break them as other guys will always step up and produce. But having Siakam not produce consistently will eventually come and haunt the Raptors in the near future.

Although I can see Siakam dominating this year’s playoffs as I said he’s now the team’s primary scorer, last year he was the secondary scorer beyond Kawhi Leonard. Now he’s given the job to help lead this team and I truly think he is more than capable of doing it. (Stats from NBA.com)

Ibaka's style of play is why he shouldn't be re-signed. dark. Next

Who do you think will dominate this year’s NBA playoffs and help lead the Toronto Raptors? Is it any of Lowry, Powell, or Siakam?
