This past week the Toronto Raptors rested most of their starters and let the bench play. No Raptor was more dominant in this given opportunity than Chris Boucher.

Before we begin, let’s just review just how well Chris Boucher has been doing for the Toronto Raptors.

Monday vs Milwaukee Bucks: 29:09 mins | 25 pts | 11 reb | 2 ast | 2 stl | 2 blk | 0 TO | 9-15 FG | 3-7 3PT| 4-5 FT | 3 PF | +/- +12 |

Wednesday vs Philadelphia 76ers : 21:59 mins | 19 pts | 9 reb | 0 ast | 0 stl | 4 blk | 1 TO | 7-12 FG | 4-6 3PT| 1-2 FT | 1 PF | +/- -8 |

Friday vs Denver Nuggets: 21:30 mins | 9 pts | 9 reb | 0 ast | 0 stl | 1 blk | 1 TO | 3-8 FG | 1-3 3PT| 2-3 FT | 2 PF | +/- +5 |

Look at these stat lines!

This is a guy who has been getting garbage minutes all season! Chris Boucher was an absolute monster these past three games and really provides a great example of the depth this Toronto Raptors team holds. A ton of Raptors bench players had to stand up performances throughout these last three games but nobody was more consistent than the man they call Slimm Duck.

Boucher can do it all. On the offensive side, he can do damage in the paint while also having the ability to knock down 3’s. He is also a ferocious rebounder and will put you on a poster any day of the week. Defensively, he is debatably the biggest block threat on this Toronto Raptors team and will swat you into infinity if you bring that weak s**t in his domain.

He is always good to get TSN’s Jack Armstrong’s signature “Get that garbage outta here!” line a few times a game. As much as he is a rim protector, Boucher is fairly mobile for a guy of his size and can move around the floor with ease.

Chris Boucher has played his way into the Toronto Raptors playoff rotation conversation and certainly deserves a look from coach Nick Nurse. This guy is a fan favorite and an important piece for the future of this franchise. He deserves a taste of the playoffs.
