Caris LeVert and Joe Harris are x-factors for Nets

Brooklyn’s playoff hopes ride on the shoulders of rising star Caris LeVert and sharpshooter Joe Harris. Both players have been phenomenal for the Nets in Orlando.

LeVert is scoring at an impressive 25 points per game clip in six seeding games played. Prior to the playoffs, he was named to the All-Bubble second team.

The 25-year-old has gotten his way in the paint and mid-range, but his three-point shooting could prove to be his Achilles’ heel.

In the seeding games LeVert played in he shot just about 22 percent from three-point range, When it comes to shooting from deep, LeVert is a mixed bag as of late.

The Raptors poses an NBA best 33.7 percent opponent three-point percentage this season. However, through eight seeding games, Toronto has slid to seventh in opponent three-point percentage and ranks 19th in the category through their last four games.

LeVert may not be the Nets player to worry about from deep, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t one to worry about. Enter Joe Harris.

The 28-year-old is one of the premier three-point shooters in the NBA and could prove to be a handful for Toronto. Harris is yet to have a game where he’s shot below 42 percent from deep in the bubble.

Don’t be surprised if the Nets steal one, maybe even two games off the Raptors solely because of Harris’ shooting.
