1. Masai Ujiri Doesn’t Re-Sign With the Raptors

At my number one and final spot on this list of three bold predictions for the Toronto Raptors next season I have probably the boldest of them all, Masai Ujiri doesn’t re-sign with the Raptors in the 2021 off-season.

I know right, that’s a pretty bold prediction given how much Masai loves the Toronto Raptors and how much the franchise loves him back, but you never know what could really happen because he and General Manager Bobby Webster have yet to put ink to paper and renew their contracts with the franchise.

It has been rumored for what feels like a while now that Masai Ujiri is apparently going to leave the Raptors organization and that other teams would be interested in hiring Ujiri to fill certain roles in the franchise, however, nothing really has ever come to fruition as of late so as of right now everything is just a rumor that really has no meaning.

Teams such as the Washington Wizards and the New York Knicks were possible landing destinations for the Raptors President if he ever does intend to leave the Toronto Raptors to fill another role somewhere else, and some teams were willing to pay him the big bucks as well as give him a higher role in the franchise.

It’s called a bold prediction for a reason and this specific prediction really does feel like it’s way out of the left-field because how could a man who has turned the Raptors along with Bobby Webster into one of the most dangerous teams in the NBA, along with countless winning seasons and to top it off a championship in 2019.

Masai did say in a presser about a month ago that he needs to worry about the 2021 off-season and it was important for him to lock up Nick Nurse under contract right now so it does feel like Masai wants to stay with the franchise and focus on his contract when that time comes, but you never know. (Stats from Basketball-Reference.com)
