It’s been an interesting first half of the 2020-21 season for the Toronto Raptors. They started the season at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with a 2-8 record, but they are currently at the No. 4 seed with a 17-17 record.

They went from being a team that looks like a lottery team to a team that can make noise at the playoffs. They had some great wins and some tough losses this season. But we’ll talk more about this another time.

Let us focus on five games Raptors fans should be looking forward to during the second half of the season. These aren’t the best games necessarily, but they are games that a good story before the games start. The second half of the season for the Raptors starts on March 11, when they will face the Atlanta Hawks.

Honorable Mention: It’s Dame Time

Last time these teams met; The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Toronto Raptors 112-111 on Jan. 11. The Raptors would have won the game if Pascal Siakam’s shot at the very end of regulation went in. Unfortunately, it rattled out and Toronto was defeated.

Luckily, they play Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers again on March 28 in Tampa. The Raptors can get revenge and win the second game of the two meetings from this season. Siakam can redeem himself and help Toronto win the game.

CJ McCollum killed them during their first meeting, but there is a chance that he might not play in the second game. With or without him, they still have to deal with Lillard. He had 30 points, six rebounds and five assists. If McCollum comes back before the game, then that’s more problematic for the Raptors to deal with.

The first game was close, and that happened when the Raptors were struggling early this season. Now they are looking like a playoff team again. Therefore, they have a good chance to win. But, whatever happens, it will be a great game to check out.
