The Toronto Raptors draft plans in 2021 include a total of three picks in the upcoming draft, with two second-rounders at their disposal. Not since 2014 have the Raptors had that many draft selections in one year.

Masai Ujiri has been able to find great value in the lower rounds of the NBA Draft for years, so imagine what he’ll be able to do with a potential top pick and two second-rounders.

The lottery is going to be where the drama is, and the Raptors’ first-round pick is bound to be more consequential, but Ujiri now owns 5% of the entire second round, and to suggest he’s not going to find something good down there is pessimistic to the point of foolishness.

On top of that, 2021 is set to be a deep draft. Some might say it’s a six-man lottery and you might as well shuffle around picks 7-60, but whether you believe that or not, it does speak to the swath of reasonable talent teams will have to choose from.

2021 is set to have one of the most exciting drafts Raptors fans have seen in a long time, so for those who need an update on the second round, look no further. Three NBA rookies should be headed to Toronto this summer, two of whom will be taken in the second round, a range with plenty of NBA talent to be found.
