Aaron Henry. SF. Michigan State. 47. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 486

Henry looks like the perfect Ujiri pick, as Toronto’s roster is full of tremendous defensive players that have the ability to guard multiple positions and hit some shots when called upon. With Henry a junior, he has the experience that Ujiri likes to see from his draft picks, a trait that could entice Toronto to pull the trigger.

Henry is a hellacious defender on the perimeter, a great rebounder for his size, a smart player that can make crisp passes while pushing the pace, and a very good off-ball mover that can create open looks for himself and others. That sound you just heard was Masai Ujiri almost passing out.

Toronto Raptors mock draft: Aaron Henry offers tons of upside

Henry’s issues on offense start with the fact that he is very undisciplined on offense. His shot selection is questionable, and that cavalier style of attack has helped him become a bit of a turnover machine. Can the Raptors help coach that habit out of him?

While the shooting is questionable, Henry has improved his scoring every season, showing that the best is still to come with regards to his NBA career. The Raptors need to take advantage and keep developing him.
