4. Toronto Raptors vs Brooklyn Nets (November 7)

The Brooklyn Nets are the favorites to win the 2021-22 NBA championship due to the three-headed monster of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden. This team could have won the championship last season, but the team was suffering from injuries in the postseason that crippled them.

Now that the Nets are healthy, they are the team to beat. No offense to the Lakers or the defending champs Bucks, but the Nets have a ton of offensive firepower. The Raptors were able to handle them plenty of times last year, but they were rarely at full strength. Will they have the same results against all three big names.

The Raptors could measure themselves against the Nets.

They will be the measuring stick for many teams in the league, and the Raptors are no exception. If the Raptors can go head-to-head with a healthy Nets team and take them down at least once, that could help prove that this is a team capable of making it to the postseason.

The Raptors will face the Nets three times this season. The first of three meetings will be on Nov. 7 in Toronto. This game will show if they are good enough to be in the playoffs or the play-in tournament. Likewise, getting dominated might show Toronto isn’t ready to punch with the big boys just yet.
