Toronto Raptors: Full roster of 20 players entering training camp
By Mike Luciano
The Toronto Raptors are back in Canada, and while the departure of Kyle Lowry and their poor run of form has done a number on their chances to compete for a championship, the roster is still packed to the brim with intriguing players.
Toronto has a completely new look to kick off this new era, as the likes of Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, and OG Anunoby will be the top offensive options, while young players like Scottie Barnes and Malachi Flynn will try to grow into their own as role players.
The Raptors currently have 20 guys on the roster, creating a mix of established players, two-way deals for neophyte pros to prove themselves, and non-guaranteed deals for free agents to prove they should be handed one of the final spots on the roster.
This breakdown shows all 20 players the Raptors will have in camp, their cap implications for this year, and how they could impact Toronto’s finances in the future.

The Raptors are leaning on a roster based around youth and potential, as Dragic is the only member of the team that is older than 30. Players like Siakam and VanVleet will be expected to take on leadership and mentorship roles.
Outside of some of the players on the bottom of the roster, the Raptors don’t have a ton of money coming off of the books next season. Dragic will likely be traded elsewhere for more assets, and Toronto will try to do whatever they can to retain Boucher.
While the starting lineup is largely ironed out, save for the question of Dragic or Trent at shooting guard, young players like Barnes will be given every opportunity to prove they can help this team win in the immediate future.
The Raptors roster is full of question marks considering how young and raw they are, but there is a path to success for this roster, and it’s on Nick Nurse to get these guys playing at a high level.
