1. OG Anunoby is ready to become a star on offense.

With Pascal Siakam and Chris Boucher both injured, the Raptors needed someone to step up and make their presence felt on offense. Fans heard all summer long about the steps OG was taking to make sure that he could be a trusted source of consistent scoring, and the results have been beautiful.

Anunoby only played one half, but he still managed to rack up 17 points. His defense remained excellent in addition to this scoring burst, as everyone from the lanky 6-6 guard Green to 6-10, 240-pound big man Alperen Sengun had their shots contested by the Indiana alum.

Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby is getting better every game

Anunoby is not just spotting up and shooting 3-pointers. He’s looking more confident as an attacker with the ball in his hands, creating offense for himself, and using his muscle to bully defenders in the paint. The career-best 15.9 points per game mark he set last year looks ready to fall.

Anunoby should’ve been expected to take a step forward, but we’re seeing a level of aggression and ease in his game that we haven’t witnessed before. Hopefully, this Anunoby is here to stay, as he is quickly becoming one of the very best two-way players in the entire NBA.
