The Toronto Raptors are currently faced with the daunting task of trying to stay alive in the competitive Eastern Conference with three rotation players in Pascal Siakam, Yuta Watanabe, and Scottie Barnes all sidelined due to injury. Despite their success so far, the latest Raptors odds are a bit pessimistic.

After staging a furious comeback against the Knicks thanks to a career night from OG Anunoby, Toronto will make the trip to DC in order to face a Washington Wizards team who stymied them on opening night. Toronto scored just 83 points, and Barnes led all Raptors with 12 points.

The Wizards are not the pushover they were in the past, as Wes Unseld Jr. has them at 5-2. It’s no longer just the Bradley Beal show on offense, as Spencer Dinwiddie, Montrezl Harrell, and Kyle Kuzma have given this team enough depth to be a legitimate problem in the East.

Will Toronto learn from the mistakes they made in their first game and take home the win? Or will they suffer their second loss of the season at the hands of their DC rivals?

Wizards vs Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick

The latest odds from WynnBET have Washington as -3 favorites against the spread, with this loaded team -110 (bet $110 to win $100) to cover. Washington is -160 on the moneyline, while Toronto checks in at +140 (bet $100 to win $140).

The over-under in this contest is 212, with the under coming in at -110 and the over also listed at -110.

Raptors Injury Report

Siakam is still recovering from his shoulder injury, so he won’t play tonight. Watanabe is also sidelined. Barnes will not play due to his thumb injury.

Toronto Raptors vs Washington Wizards Prediction

Toronto has already shown that they not only can win games without Barnes and Siakam, but they can go on the road and beat quality teams. Even with that, the Raptors’ four-game winning streak is in serious jeopardy tonight given how well the Wizards have been playing lately.

Anunoby is not going to score 36 points every night, and it might be hard to consistently top 110 points without their best veteran star in Siakam and their young starlet in Barnes. Toronto will be in this game again, but a win might be a bit too farfetched.
