Patrick Baldwin Jr, NBA Mock Draft
GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA – NOVEMBER 18: Patrick Baldwin Jr. #23 of the Milwaukee Panthers (Photo by James Gilbert/Getty Images) /

Pick Analysis. SF. Milwaukee. Patrick Baldwin Jr.. 5. player. 29. Scouting Report

Even though Baldwin chose to spurn some elite programs to play under his father with the Panthers, Baldwin will almost assuredly be picked in the lottery. While he’s not the greatest athlete in the world, Baldwin’s shooting touch and ability to handle the ball will get him picked high.

San Antonio has a thing for players with this skillset, as proven by the selections of Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson. Baldwin’s offensive potential blows both of those players out of the water, and he could be a cornerstone for this team as the post-Gregg Popovich era draws closer.

NBA Mock Draft: Oklahoma City could gamble on Jaden Hardy

Jaden Hardy. 149. 6. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. SG. G League

Hardy isn’t tearing the G League up at the moment, but everything about his profile as a player suggests that he will be a force on both ends. His ability to score from anywhere on the court and blow by defenders will make him a very tantalizing prospect, even if he is a bit on the unpolished side.

Oklahoma City may just need to draft the best offensive player available at the moment. With Josh Giddey and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander already in the fold, running a lineup with three guards could unlock their full offensive potential.
