Jaden Ivey, NBA Mock Draft
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – MARCH 19: Jaden Ivey #23 of the Purdue Boilermakers (Photo by Jamie Squire/Getty Images) /

13. Tennessee. Kennedy Chandler. PG. player. 18. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

The Celtics have their star duo in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, but Dennis Schroder and Payton Pritchard are not getting the job done at the point guard spit. Chandler will have to deal with some concerns about his size (or lack thereof), but he does just about everything else well.

Chandler has the same explosion and passing skills as Schroder with a slightly higher offensive ceiling. If it wasn’t for his skinny frame, Chandler would be a lock for the top of the lottery. If Ime Udoka develops him properly, Chandler could be a third star for a Boston team with title aspirations.

NBA Mock Draft: Jaden Ivey could jump up draft boards.

Scouting Report. 14. 125. player. Pick Analysis. SG. Purdue. Jaden Ivey

The Hawks may not be in the lottery much longer due to their win streak, but that doesn’t negate the fact that they could be looking to surround Trae Young with more offensive difference-makers. Ivey could rocket up draft boards if he leads the Boilermakers to success in March.

Ivey isn’t an amazing 3-point shooter, and he will need to pick up the pace in that area to become a lock for the lottery, but his rebounding and passing are extremely advanced. With their franchise player in Young and key role players in John Collins and Kevin Huerter locked up, adding a player of Ivey’s caliber would help Atlanta return to the contender tier.

Just missed the cut: AJ Griffin, Duke; Ousmane Dieng, New Zealand; Bennedict Mathurin, Arizona; Dyson Daniels, G League, Peyton Watson, UCLA; Jean Montero, Overtime Elite.
