Cunningham has once again started to regress, as he hasn’t made over 30% of his shots in any of his last five games. While that could be grounds for a very deep drop down the rankings, the fact that Cunningham continues to do just about everything else well is encouraging for Dwane Casey and Detroit.

Cunningham is already a terrific rebounder and passer. On defense, it’s clear that he’s adjusting after some lackluster nights to start. He’s been very volatile on offense, but his highs are so enticing that he should still be considered the main piece of a lengthy Pistons rebuild.

NBA Rookie Ladder: Cade Cunningham needs to be more efficient.

Giddey’s efficiency numbers might not blow everyone out of the water, but what he’s done after starting the year just a few days after turning 19 years old has been worth watching. The Australian has already made an impact as a rebounder, passer, and initiator of offense.

Giddey is still leading all rookies in assists while coming in right behind Barnes and Mobley in rebounds. Oklahoma City is not going to be a very fun team to watch this season due to the lack of depth, but Giddey gives them tons of hope for the future.
