Patrick Baldwin Jr, NBA Mock Draft

Patrick Baldwin Jr.. 7. player. Pick Analysis. SF. Milwaukee. Scouting Report. 100

While Baldwin chose to play his freshman year away from the prying eyes of the nation in order to suit up for his father, that has done little to dent his status as an elite prospect. While injuries have kept him off the floor for a while, Baldwin’s shooting, shot-creation, and hustle will keep him in the lottery.

While either Myles Turner or Domantas Sabonis could be traded, the biggest need for Rick Carlisle and Indiana will be on the wing. Imagine keeping the Turner-Sabonis tandem alive while playing Baldwin at small forward. This would make Indiana one of the most explosive offenses in the East.

NBA Mock Draft: Patrick Baldwin Jr. has tons of potential.

player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. G League. Jaden Hardy. SG. 8. 29

Hardy is shooting just 35% from the field in the G League, but that hasn’t made much of a dent in his stock. If he gets that turned around, his stock will shoot through the room, as everything else about his game seems to suggest that he will be a quality NBA player for a decade.

The Spurs need to swing for the fences at some point, as they have uncharacteristically been out of the postseason for multiple seasons now. Hardy is a touch raw, but he profiles as someone capable of making multiple All-Star teams due to how he attacks the rim and creates scoring opportunities for himself.

84. Baylor. 9. player. Kendall Brown. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. SF

Sacramento is a mess right now, but the backcourt combo of De’Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton, and Davion Mitchell gives the Kings a strong foundation. They need that ace scorer on the wing. Brown might not be a shooter at this point, but if he develops that skill, look out.

Already an elite finisher with versatility on both ends, Brown projects as someone with a low floor in the NBA that will contribute in some form or fashion. On the fringes of the postseason, Brown might be someone that helps the Kings stand out in a crowded West.
