2. Miles Bridges, Charlotte Hornets

Bridges may be a contender for the Most Improved Award despite Ja Morant’s recent hot streak. LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier get tons of attention on this Charlotte team, but it is Bridges who still went into Friday night leading the Hornets in scoring this year with 19.6 points per game. He’s also pulling down over seven rebounds per game.

Bridges is, unfortunately, being outpaced by Siakam in points, rebounds, and assists per game. While Bridges has been an ironman that has played in 41 games and Siakam missed tons of time due to an injury, there can be no debate as to who the better player is when both guys are fully healthy.

Toronto Raptors: Pascal Siakam has better numbers than Miles Bridges.

Bridges may have the advantage of being on a better team considering how LaMelo Ball’s offensive skills have propelled the Hornets to the No. 7 seed in the East, but Siakam continues to outperform Bridges while Toronto nips at Charlotte’s heels.

As good as Bridges has been in his breakout year, it’s clear who is the straw that stirs the drink in Charlotte. VanVleet and Siakam operate as equals in Toronto, as their long win streak had a ton to do with Pascal’s frontcourt wizardry as it did with VanVleet going nuts from 3-point range.
