The Toronto Raptors manage to rebound from a very difficult loss against the Pistons by surprising the defending champion Bucks on the road. The latest Raptors odds don’t seem to think they will carry that momentum into their next game, however, as they are scheduled to fall in defeat against another East contender.

The squad will lock horns with Erik Spoelstra and the Miami Heat. While this was supposed to be Toronto’s first game against Kyle Lowry following his offseason departure, he will not suit up in this contest due to personal reasons. This will just be a garden variety road game against Miami.

Even though Lowry is out and Bam Adebayo is questionable due to his nagging injury, Miami has still managed to leap out to fourth in the East on the back of a deep rotation and pestilent defense. This game is going to be the furthest thing from a walk in the park.

Will Toronto stay hot and pick up their second straight road win against an East contender? Will they fall to the Lowry-less Heat and pick up their third loss in four games?

Miami Heat vs Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from WynnBET have Miami as -3.0 favorites against the spread, with this squad -110 (bet $110 to win $100) to cover. Miami is -160 on the moneyline, while Toronto checks at +130 (bet $100 to win $130).

The over-under in this contest is 208.5, with the under coming in at -110 and the over listed at -110. With so many stars potentially sitting out, Vegas is expecting a crunching, low-scoring game.

Raptors Injury Report

Scottie Barnes is not listed on the injury report and will play today. Khem Birch remains out due to a broken nose and Gary Trent Jr. is questionable with an ankle injury.

Toronto Raptors vs Miami Heat Prediction

With Lowry not going to play and Adebayo potentially not at full strength, the Heat are missing two of their biggest names. However, Toronto should still be very concerned about this team considering how well they have been playing without Adebayo in the lineup.

The Raptors may not have the bench talent to stay with the Heat once the starters leave the game. Expect Toronto to hang with Miami for a large chunk of the game before ultimately capitulating and losing.
