1. C Myles Turner

The Raptors have been mentioned as a potential landing spot for the game’s best shot-blocker, as there is no better way to fix issues on the interior than by adding a quality rebounder and elite defender in his athletic prime. Still, the Pacers won’t just give him away for free.

The Raptors would need to part with multiple first-round picks and enough tangible players to the point where Indiana would be interested in sacrificing one of the best bigs in the East. As risky as it may be, Toronto’s lack of center skill might be bad enough to where Ujiri brings the hammer down and makes this trade happen.

Myles Turner would be a game-changer for the Toronto Raptors.

Turner, like all of Toronto’s starters, is under contract for next season. While it might be tough to move one of the standout starters to the bench to insert Turner into the starting lineup, the rim protection woes would be solved, all while adding a solid shooter and post presence on offense. Fit-wise, there isn’t a better center out there.

The Pacers will (and should) ask for an arm and leg for Turner. They’re not the most motivated sellers in the world right now, but Ujiri making them an offer they can’t refuse could change all of that. Turner and Pascal Siakam in the Raptors frontcourt for the next two years could vault Toronto into the contender tier.
