1. Myles Turner, Indiana Pacers

After a few mediocre years, the Pacers have been downright terrible this year. They find themselves closer to the bottom of the Eastern Conference with a 19-33 record.

It’s clear they are ready to blow up the team and move on from their existing talent in Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner, and Caris Levert. Although I’m a bigger fan of Sabonis’ game, I think Turner would be a better fit with Toronto’s roster.

Now in his seventh year, the former Texas Longhorn is a walking block party, finishing last season with a Mutombo-esque 3.4 Blocks per game!

This season he is averaging 12.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.5 threes made, and a league-leading 2.8 blocks per game. He is a perennial defensive force that would also space the floor on offense.

Per Michael Scotto at HoopsHype, the Pacers are seeking two first-round picks or a talented young player and a first-round pick in exchange for Turner, who is currently out with a stress reaction in his left foot. Unless the team manages to negotiate a better deal for the injured center, that’s a steep asking price.

Will the Toronto Raptors make a move for Myles Turner?

With Fred VanVleet making a case for an All-Star appearance, Pascal Siakam rising like a phoenix from the ashes, OG Anunoby having his best season yet, Gary Trent Jr. dominating on both ends, and Scottie Barnes playing high IQ basketball, some might argue that Toronto should stay put.

As always, Ujiri will continue to entertain calls and is not shy to pull the trigger all the way up to 3pm EST on February 10th. If Turner is available, he will consider making a move.
