player. 149. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. C. Memphis. Jalen Duren. 4

In a draft that is short on traditional centers, Duren stands out as the clear top choice for anyone that wants to add some muscle to their frontcourt rotation. An excellent rebounder and interior defender with the ability to finish inside, Duren is perfect for what Oklahoma City needs right now.

The Thunder have their backcourt locked up for the next few seasons thanks to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey, but their lack of a difference-maker in the paint could come back to haunt them in the near future. He could have more offensive opportunities in OKC than he has on a chaotic Memphis team.

NBA Mock Draft: Jaden Ivey has tons of offensive potential.

SG. 84. Jaden Ivey. 5. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Purdue

Imagine a small-ball lineup that features De’Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton, and Ivey on the floor at the same time with Davion Mitchell backing them up. With Ivey’s shooting woes in the past thanks to a 44% success rate from deep, he profiles as an elite scoring guard for years to come.

Able to handle the ball, defend multiple positions, and blaze to the rim on pure athleticism alone, Ivey may have a higher offensive ceiling than Haliburton. If the Kings want to take the best player available, Ivey might give them a low-floor guard that should help fix their perimeter defense issues and serve as a nice compliment to Fox.

Bennedict Mathurin. 6. player. 100. Scouting Report. Arizona. Pick Analysis. SF

Mathurin has evolved from an intriguing scorer into a capable lead wing player helping the Wildcats make a run at the Pac-12 title. One of the best on-ball defenders in this class, Kevin Pritchard could make Mathurin a centerpiece of the next era of Pacers basketball.

Indiana appears to be on the verge of a full-scale rebuild that sees them part ways with Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis. Mathurin could pair with Caris LeVert as Indiana ushers this new era in. While not the most creative ball-handler or scorer at the moment, his floor is very high.
