PG. Alabama. JD Davison. 169. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 21. player

Davison is a very raw player that won’t be a quality shooter right out of the gate, but he is one of the best athletes in this class, ripping off rim-rattling dunks with regularity and providing good defensive hustle.

Houston could be tempted to give Kevin Porter Jr. one last chance to prove he can be a franchise point guard. Drafting Davison would put pressure on Porter, as his leaping ability and energy off the bench could make Porter sweat.

Pick Analysis. SF. Baylor. Kendall Brown. player. Scouting Report. 211. 22

Why not replace Kyle Anderson with almost an exact clone? While Brown is not a factor as a shooter right now, he is one of the best mid-range scorers this class has to offer, and that could appeal to Memphis.

A bigger wing that might be able to handle both guard and forward responsibilities despite being 6-8, Brown would serve as a Dillon Brooks backup before potentially moving to the starting lineup in his second season if he develops any sort of consistent jumper.

NBA Mock Draft: Blake Wesley could produce right away.

Pick Analysis. SG. Notre Dame. 23. Scouting Report. Blake Wesley. player. 156

With so many standout big men, Cleveland will likely try to add a star Sixth man that can back up Collin Sexton following his injury. Wesley has had some issues with efficiency, but the top recruit and combo guard plug that hole.

While he isn’t a great playmaker, Wesley can score with the best of them and give a ton of effort on the defensive end. The Cavs bench could take a big hit if Ricky Rubio is not retained, but Wesley can help ease the blow by providing his usual standout brand of offensive basketball.

C. Mark Williams. 24. 89. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Duke. player

Williams might not have the most prolific production to the untrained eye, but his ability to block shots and grab rebounds is exactly what made Isaiah Jackson a valued prospect next year. He could compete for minutes instantly in Milwaukee.

With Brook Lopez starting to show his age, the Bucks could replace him with one of the best defensive players in this draft. He may never develop into a versatile offensive threat, but he can secure the paint and fit in nicely on a taller Bucks team.

93. Pick Analysis. SF. Serbia. Nikola Jovic. 25. player. Scouting Report

The 76ers can afford to be patient and wait for a European prospect to develop overseas before bringing him stateside. At 6-10 with handles and a solid jumper, Jovic seems like the type of player that could fit perfectly in today’s positionless NBA.

While he needs to make sure he can pack on a few pounds and improve on defense, Doc Rivers could bring the perfect Tobias Harris backup to Philadelphia. Tyrese Maxey has eliminated the need for a point guard.
