The Toronto Raptors have picked up an astounding eight straight wins and nine victories in their last 10 games thanks to stellar performances from Pascal Siakam and Gary Trent Jr. The latest Raptors odds have them favored to push the streak to nine in what could be Thad Young’s debut.

Reigning league MVP Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets will come to town on the second night of a back-to-back. Toronto has had issues defending bigger centers this season, and you won’t find many bigger or more skilled big men in the league today than Jokic.

Even though Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. have been out for almost the entire season, the Nuggets are still in the playoff hunt because of how singularly talented Jokic is as a center. He alone can wreck Nick Nurse’s entire gameplan due to his skills.

Will Young and Toronto make it nine in a row against a Nuggets team that is lacking the depth needed to become a title contender? Will a Jokic triple-double be enough to hand Denver the win?

Denver Nuggets vs Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from WynnBET have Toronto as -3.5 favorites against the spread, with this squad -110 (bet $110 to win $100) to cover. Toronto is -160 on the moneyline, while Denver checks at +130 (bet $100 to win $130).

The over-under in this contest is 222.5, with the under coming in at -110 and the over listed at -110. The Siakam-Trent combination against Jokic’s MVP-caliber season could make the over worth taking here.

Raptors Injury Report

Fred VanVleet is questionable with left groin soreness.

Toronto Raptors vs Denver Nuggets Prediction

If Denver had all of their available scorers and didn’t play the night before in Boston, this would be a whole different question. As it stands right now, the Nuggets have enough holes on their roster for Toronto to exploit with or without VanVleet in the lineup tonight.

Jokic is going to get his against a weak Raptors interior, but he’ll pile up the points against anybody. If Toronto can prevent one of the other Nuggets from getting hot, they could pull out another win here.
