Nick Nurse and the rest of the team will take on the short-handed Brooklyn Nets in New York. While Toronto has been getting beaten down without OG Anunoby in the lineup, the Nets might be the most injured, unhealthy team in the league given all of the star power that will not play in this game.
Kevin Durant and Joe Harris are still hurt, Ben Simmons is working his way back to full strength, and Kyrie Irving’s ill-sighted crusade against getting vaccinated has him sitting this out. The squad might be at less than full strength, the Nets have sole holes that can be exploited.

When the Raptors lost to Brooklyn in Toronto earlier in the year, the Nets had both Durant and Harden available. With arguably Brooklyn’s four best players sitting this game out, Toronto might not be getting a Nets team that is operating at maximum efficiency.
Even in a loss in Brooklyn where the Nets had just eight players, the Durant factor was enough to give them the win. Without KD in the lineup, the Nets may find it tough to keep pace with Toronto.
