The Toronto Raptors have started the second half in just about the worst fashion possible, as both the Hornets and the Hawks blew the doors off them. Luckily, the latest Raptors odds have them positioned to break their losing streak against a division rival.

Nick Nurse and the rest of the team will take on the short-handed Brooklyn Nets in New York. While Toronto has been getting beaten down without OG Anunoby in the lineup, the Nets might be the most injured, unhealthy team in the league given all of the star power that will not play in this game.

Kevin Durant and Joe Harris are still hurt, Ben Simmons is working his way back to full strength, and Kyrie Irving’s ill-sighted crusade against getting vaccinated has him sitting this out. The squad might be at less than full strength, the Nets have sole holes that can be exploited.

Will the Raptors pick up another victory after some uneven starts over the course of the second half? Will the Nets stay hot after taking down the Bucks in a highly-contested nailbiter?

Brooklyn Nets vs Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from WynnBET have Toronto as -4.5 favorites against the spread, with this squad -110 (bet $110 to win $100) to cover. Toronto is -175 on the moneyline, while Brooklyn checks at +145 (bet $100 to win $145).

The over-under in this contest is 219, with the under coming in at -110 and the over listed at -110. Toronto has struggled to get into an offensive flow, which makes the under very tantalizing.

Fred VanVleet has been ruled questionable while OG Anunoby is getting a second opinion on his injured finger.

Toronto Raptors vs Brooklyn Nets Prediction

When the Raptors lost to Brooklyn in Toronto earlier in the year, the Nets had both Durant and Harden available. With arguably Brooklyn’s four best players sitting this game out, Toronto might not be getting a Nets team that is operating at maximum efficiency.

Even in a loss in Brooklyn where the Nets had just eight players, the Durant factor was enough to give them the win. Without KD in the lineup, the Nets may find it tough to keep pace with Toronto.
