2 reasons the Raptors shouldn’t panic (and 1 reason they should)

Don’t Panic: The schedule could give them some winnable games.
While pumping up a weak schedule might not sound like a huge benefit considering how Toronto choked away wins against the Magic and Pistons, that doesn’t change the fact that Toronto has a perfect opportunity to make up some ground late in March and early in April.
A game against San Antonio and two games against a Lakers team that needs 56 points from LeBron James just to compete are on the menu. Toronto has one game left against Orlando, Houston, and Indiana, meaning that they could pick up some critical wins late in the season.
The Toronto Raptors have a somewhat easy schedule.
Toronto has had an issue with playing down to their competition, as they are a combined 2-6 against the three worst Eastern Conference teams in Indiana, Detroit, and Orlando. Fixing those struggles could be a major step in the right direction for a team that is just a few games out from the play-in.
Toronto seemingly doesn’t have an issue generating the required effort against contenders, but they have often been caught overlooking some of the weaker teams in the league. Getting healthy in time for those games can help Toronto position themselves for a playoff run.
