1. Mo Bamba, Orlando Magic

On one hand, Bamba has thrived under Jamahl Mosley. After years of struggles for playing time, the long-limbed lottery pick is starting to emerge as a standout performer. However, with Orlando potentially in line to earn the No. 1 overall pick, a player like Chet Holmgren or Jabari Smith, Bamba could be pushed out of town.

Bamba is averaging 10.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game while becoming a solid 3-point shooting weapon. The Raptors need shooting and shot-blocking, and the best combination of those two traits on the market might just be Bamba. If there is an open roster spot, this needs to happen.

Bamba should only be chased if Toronto wants to spend a ton of money on a potential frontcourt upgrade. Even though he’s a one-hit-wonder, a young player with his physical tools coming off of a breakout season is expected to garner a fairly substantial market.

Bamba needed a coach that believed in him to strut his stuff at this level. If Nick Nurse is as motivated to sign Bamba as Mosley is, the former Texas Longhorn could be in for a very lucrative payday on a team with intentions of making a very deep run in the postseason.
