2. DeAndre’ Bembry, Milwaukee Bucks

After some rough sledding in Atlanta and a solid season as a backup in Tampa, Bembry signed on with the Nets in order to chase a championship alongside Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. After getting waived by Brooklyn and signed by Milwaukee, Bembry was punched in the gut with a very tough injury.

Bembry is out for the year after suffering a gnarly ACL and MCL injury. While he hasn’t been eating up a ton of minutes for the Bucks, losing a player that can be as impactful on defense as Bembry might come back to haunt them if one or two more players get bitten by the injury bug.

Toronto Raptors: Will the Bucks get a ring for DeAndre’ Bembry?

Bembry gave Toronto some solid minutes last year, handling the ball and defending multiple positions on defense. Milwaukee is starting to prove that they should be among the East’s elite following a slow start, even if Bembry is not going to be along for the ride as a result.

Bembry might not have had the most eye-popping numbers with the Raptors, but it’s impossible to dislike the given how hard he plays the game and all of the obstacles he has had to overcome to stick in the pros. If Milwaukee repeats, Bembry could end up getting a ring.
