1. Christian Braun, Kansas

Agbaji is going to be the main attraction for the Jayhawks in this game, but Braun has come into his own. Once a fringe candidate to even get drafted, what he’s done over the last few months has made him a lock to hear his name called by a team in need of some extra shooting.

Braun has averaged 14.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this season while converting on 50% of his shots and 39% of his 3-point attempts. After hitting some big shots against Villanova, Braun showed that he has a clutch gene that is uncommon for players that are available at the top of the second round.

Toronto Raptors: Christian Braun could be a nice backup wing.

Braun’s defense will be a major bugaboo for teams looking to invest a pick in him. While it was passable against Big 12 defenses, he’ll need to show he can overcome a lack of strength and overall athletic ability if he wants to get some playing time in Toronto.

Fellow Jayhawk Svi Mykhailiuk started the season as a nice backup wing, but he slowly fell out of favor. The Raptors have tried everything to get more production from that spot, but nothing seemed to stick. Adding Braun could be the most prudent option, especially if he dominates the Tar Heels in front of an international audience.
