The Toronto Raptors could’ve folded after losing three straight games to the Philadelphia 76ers, but Pascal Siakam, Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes, and the rest of the squad have fought back. Unfortunately, the most recent Toronto Raptors odds remain pessimistic when looking at their chances to advance.

With Joel Embiid nursing a thumb injury and James Harden not providing the same levels of offensive brilliance as he did in Houston, Nick Nurse’s squad was able to stay alive in Game 4 and completely shut down Philly’s offense in Game 5. Even without Fred VanVleet due to an injury, Toronto took it to Doc Rivers.

Toronto must still be wary of Philadelphia’s star power, but these last few games have crystallized the fact that they are capable of looking the 76ers dead in the face and pulling out a victory. Time will tell if they still have the same magic in Game 6.

Will the Raptors become just the second team ever to force a Game 7 after being down 3-0 in the playoffs? Will the 76ers get back on track and end Toronto’s magical season a bit early by winning their second game in Toronto?

Philadelphia 76ers vs Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from WynnBET have Philadelphia as -1.5 favorites against the spread, with this squad -108 (bet $108 to win $100) to cover. Philly is -125 on the moneyline, while Toronto checks in at +105 (bet $100 to win $105).

The over-under in this contest is 210.5, with the under coming in at -108 and the over listed at -108. Most of Toronto’s best games have come when they have kept the scoring low and the chaos high on defense.

Fred VanVleet has been ruled doubtful with a strained hip flexor.

Toronto Raptors vs Philadelphia 76ers Prediction

Toronto has a good shot at winning this game, as they have shown renewed defensive vigor over the next two games. With VanVleet still not himself, Toronto will need to make Game 6 yet another dogfight if they want to come out on top.

This game will ultimately come down to Toronto’s ability to replicate their standout perimeter defense. If they are able to lock down Maxey and Harden, we could get a Game 7. If either one of them gets hot, this series could come to a close and send Toronto home for the offseason.
