Toronto Raptors 2021-22 Grades: Forwards

Scottie Barnes

What more is there to say? The kid from Florida State came right into a team with championship experience and immediately made himself an integral part of how things work. His Rookie of the Year award confirmed what a special talent he is and his potential in the immediate future.

Grade: A

OG Anunoby

Anunoby often gets overshadowed on this roster despite his dominant defense and improved scoring. While he missed large chunks of time due to injuries, Toronto is fully aware of what an important part of their long-term outlook Anunoby is.

Grade: A-

Toronto Raptors: OG Anunoby continued to improve.

Justin Champagnie

Signed as an undrafted free agent on a two-way contract, Champagnie proved that he can be an above-average rebounder at this level while starting to flex minor improvements as a scorer in the G League. Toronto needs to figure out some way to bring him back into the fold on a proper pro contract.

Grade: B

Yuta Watanabe

Watanabe was a rotation member early in the season, but he has since struggled to get his lost minutes back. A free agent after this year, it remains to be seen if Toronto will give him one more chance to wiggle back into the lineup.

Grade: C+

Svi Mykhailiuk

Mykhailiuk went from a spot-starter and one of the first guys off of the bench to a seldom-used reserve after struggling with his 3-point shot. A divorce might be the best course of action for both parties.

Grade: D
