When you’re regarded as a second-round prospect, the best way to break into the NBA might be making one trait so showstopping and refined that teams have to take a chance on you. Foster earned some G League Combine attention by being one of the best shooters in college basketball.

Foster made 46% of his 3-point attempts while shooting an insane eight shots per game. The lean 6-5 guard has been active on the defensive end and a much-improved scorer this year. The Bison star could be attractive enough to use a pick on if he can add weight quickly.

Kyle Foster would be a solid shooter for the Toronto Raptors.

Foster might be a bit of a one-year wonder. A career 39% shooter in college, Foster only had one year with a field goal percentage greater than 40% and a 3-point percentage higher than 37%. At just 172 pounds, Foster will need to bulk up and show he can be efficient.

Toronto knows that they need to get better from beyond the 3-point line if they want to make sure that they end up in the postseason once again. While Foster likely won’t play a massive role in that next year should the Raptors add him, he could easily push Armoni Brooks for playing time.
