The Toronto Raptors can finally put all of that trade speculation and offseason consternation to bed, as training camp is right around the corner. After seeing their season end at the hands of Joel Embiid’s 76ers last April, Nick Nurse is ready to go on the attack this year.

Unlike most contendign teams, Toronto managed to bring back essentially their entire rotation. Chris Boucher and Thad Young both earned multi-year contracts that saw them retained for the next few seasons, while Otto Porter Jr. was snatched away from Golden State.

Toronto has a collection of stars who bear very close inspection, including reigning Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes and All-NBA forward Pascal Siakam. Wins against his team are not going to come easy, especially if they head into the year with some preseason momentum.

Training camp is just around the corner, as is a preseason schedule that will take them to Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, and Houston. Fans thirsting for some Raptors basketball will finally have their desires quenched.
