The Toronto Raptors have had a solid start to the season despite their 1-1 record. With Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam both playing well, the team’s two biggest stars may lead them 2-1 record if everything breaks their way. The latest Toronto Raptors odds, however, aren’t very sure of that happening.

The Miami Heat may have limped to an 0-2 start thanks to losses against the Celtics and Bulls in the early going, but this is still a team that is a few months removed from being the top seed in the Eastern Conference and just a few lucky bounces away from making the Finals.

Toronto’s performance against old friend Kyle Lowry will obviously be what many fans end up watching closely, but Nick Nurse needs to figure out how to slow down an offense led by Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler, and Tyler Herro. This is by no means an easy task.

Will the Raptors get back on track with a victory over another elite Eastern Conference foe, or will they drop to 1-2 against an experienced Miami team? Considering how evenly matched these teams were last year in their terrific regular season matchups, anything is possible.

Miami Heat vs. Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook have Miami as -2.5 favorites against the spread, with this squad -110 (bet $110 to win $100) to cover. Miami is -138 on the moneyline, while Toronto checks in at +118 (bet $100 to win $118).

The over-under is 215, with the over and the under both at -110.

Raptors Injury Report

Toronto Raptors vs. Miami Heat Prediction

While it’s hard to see the Heat starting the year off as an 0-3 club, it’s equally difficult to envision the Raptors getting off to a 1-2 start, considering how well they have played this year. Erik Spoelstra is coaching a Heat team that is looking a bit older and less deep than they did last season.

While Adebayo is still a double-double threat every time he steps on the floor and Butler remains dangerous, the Raptors have the advantage of their tremendous starting lineup. If one of their bench guys comes to play, Toronto could get back on track with a win.
