Fred VanVleet and the Toronto Raptors appeared to be completely undaunted by the prospect of facing the Chicago Bulls without Pascal Siakam, as they took home an impressive nine-point win. The latest Toronto Raptors odds, however, don’t think that this squad has a good chance of winning their second straight.

Nick Nurse’s team was a pleasant surprise in their first game without Siakam. Scottie Barnes piled up another double-double while Thad Young led a revitalized bench. Even with all of the good vibes emanating from this win, it remains to be seen how sustainable this is.

The Bulls still have two potential All-Stars in DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic, and some of their bench players managed to give Toronto fits. With the series shifting to Chicago, winning two in a row is going to be a very challenging task.

Will the Raptors find a way to move to 7-4 on the season despite playing with all of their best names very rarely? Will the Bulls knock Toronto down a peg as they try to get back on the right track following their road loss?

Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook have Chicago as -3.5 favorites against the spread, with this squad -110 (bet $110 to win $100) to cover. Chicago is -168 on the moneyline, while Toronto checks in at +142 (bet $100 to win $142).

The over-under is 221.5, with the over and the under both at -110.

Raptors Injury Report

Pascal Siakam will not play today, as he will be re-evaluated in two weeks due to his injury.

Toronto Raptors vs. Chicago Bulls Prediction

The Raptors found that they can scrap together a win against a good team without Siakam in the fold. However, the Bulls weren’t at full strength either. A VanVleet 3-point barrage might not be enough to steal another win in this matchup if Zach LaVine plays.

The return of LaVine could complicate things for Toronto, as having him in the fold makes Chicago much more dangerous than if they just had Ayo Dosunmu and Alex Caruso starting. That may be enough to swing the outcome of this game firmly in the Bulls’ favor.

Bulls 110, Raptors 103
