Raptors Game Tonight: Raptors vs Rockets Odds, Starting Lineup, Injury Report, Predictions, TV Channel for Nov. 9
By Mike Luciano
The Toronto Raptors are coming off a very mixed series against the Chicago Bulls. While one win at home looked dominant, the team was bludgeoned on the road. The latest Toronto Raptors odds are still optimistic that Toronto will get back on the right track soon.
The Houston Rockets are still at the forefront of the Victor Wembanyama tank race, as Stephen Silas continues to struggle in his third season. However, the young core of Jabari Smith, Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, and Tari Eason is worth watching further down the line.
The Rockets are capable of hanging with most teams when their offense gets going, though they will have a very unique task ahead of them thanks to Toronto’s length on defense. This game could help Toronto get back on track after a tough loss against the Bulls.
Will the Raptors be able to beat Houston like they did last year and make it to 7-5 on the season? Is there a chance the Rockets march into Toronto and pull off one of the biggest upsets of the season?
Houston Rockets vs. Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under
The latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook have Toronto as -10 favorites against the spread, with this squad -110 (bet $110 to win $100) to cover. Toronto is -460 on the moneyline, while Houston checks in at +360 (bet $100 to win $360).
The over-under is 220.5, with the over and the under both at -110.
Raptors Injury Report
Khem Birch is out once again, while Pascal Siakam is also not going to play due to a groin injury.
Toronto Raptors vs. Houston Rockets Prediction
With Smith getting off to a very rough start and the Green-Porter backcourt duo not the most defensively savvy unit in the world, this could be an opportunity for the Raptors to improve their half-court offense and find ways to score without the presence of Siakam on the floor.
The only way the Rockets can take down Toronto is Green going blow-for-blow with VanVleet and turning this into a shootout. Barring that, Toronto should be favored to pick up the win in this matchup of two very young teams.
Raptors 119, Rockets 108
