The Toronto Raptors are in the middle of a very painful stretch of basketball, as Pascal Siakam is injured and they have dropped three of their last four games, two of which were against below .500 teams. The latest Toronto Raptors odds, at the very least, have them getting back on track.

Even without Cade Cunningham in the lineup, the Detroit Pistons must be taken seriously. Even though Nick Nurse has usually been a playoff fixture and Detroit has often ended up in the lottery, former Toronto coach Dwane Casey sports a 9-3 record against his old team.

Nurse lost all three games against Detroit last year despite being a favorite in all of them. A young team that is going to give Toronto their best shot, Detroit has enough playmakers to take advantage of a roster that has been thinned out due to injuries.

Will the Raptors figure out a way to overcome their Pistons demons and get back in the win column? Will the Casey Curse continue to hurt the Raptors and send them spiraling to an even more stark degree?

Detroit Pistons vs. Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook have Toronto as -5.5 favorites against the spread, with this squad -110 (bet $110 to win $100) to cover. Indiana is -210 on the moneyline, while Detroit checks in at +176 (bet $110 to win $176).

The over-under is 221, with the over and the under both at -110.

Raptors Injury Report

Pascal Siakam and Precious Achiuwa are both inactive for this game, while Fred VanVleet is also sidelined due to an illness.

Toronto Raptors vs. Detroit Pistons Prediction

Toronto was favored over Detroit in every game last year, yet was on the receiving end of a sweep. Casey always seems to get a little extra effort out of his players whenever he plays his old team, and this game will likely be no exception.

Expect the Pistons to give Nurse everything he can handle. However, the Raptors have enough quality players to give Detroit hell on the defensive side of the ball (provided the effort is there) without Cunningham in the fold. The losing streak might be snapped at just two games.
