The Toronto Raptors have been to hell and back in their first 15 games, as injuries have continued to sap the effectiveness out of this roster. As a result, the latest Toronto Raptors odds aren’t super encouraging with regard to their prospects of going to 9-7 on the year.

The Miami Heat split with Toronto during their first two games of the season, one of which featured the big Caleb Martin and Christian Koloko fight. After a very slow start, Erik Spoelstra is starting to get his team back on the right track in this crowded East.

While Tyler Herro is not going to play in this game, the big three of Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and old friend Kyle Lowry will be enough to take down most of the teams in the East. Toronto is at home, where they have just one loss on the season, however.

Will the Raptors be able to take down the Heat despite all of their injuries making it difficult to field a competitive roster? Will Lowry be able to beat up Dalano Banton and Jeff Dowtin in his second post-Raptors road game in Toronto?

Miami Heat vs. Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook have Miami as -1.5 favorites against the spread, with this squad -110 (bet $110 to win $100) to cover. Miami is -125 on the moneyline, while Toronto checks in at +108 (bet $110 to win $108).

The over-under is 216, with the over and the under both at -110.

Raptors Injury Report

Pascal Siakam, Precious Achiuwa, and Otto Porter Jr. are all out due to injuries, while Fred VanVleet and Gary Trent Jr. are questionable.

Toronto Raptors vs. Miami Heat Prediction

Toronto has already proven they can hang with Miami despite being a ban down, as they nearly pulled off the comeback of the year without Scottie Barnes. Doing so with Barnes, but without so much of their lineup, might be a bit more difficult for this team.

Unless they can find a way to slow down Butler and Adebayo with over half of their rotation either hurt or compromised, Miami should be considered the favorites in this game. It’s a genuine shame that we didn’t get to see these two teams at full strength.

Heat 103, Raptors 100
