20. Brooklyn Nets

19. New York Knicks

18. Philadelphia 76ers

17. Minnesota Timberwolves

16. Dallas Mavericks

15. Toronto Raptors

14. Portland Trail Blazers

13. Atlanta Hawks

12. Memphis Grizzlies

11. Washington Wizards

The Nets and 76ers have very rarely had all of their big names on the court for one reason or another, and it’s reflected in their win-loss record to this point. The Knicks spent a ton of money in the offseason to bring in Jalen Brunson, but the team remains stuck in .500 territory once again.

The Blazers and Timberwolves have been surprising in the West, albeit for different reasons. Portland has started off hot, while Minnesota needed to work overtime to get out of the hole they dug for themselves. The fact Dallas is where they are despite having Luka Doncic is a crime.

NBA Power Rankings: The Toronto Raptors have performed well.

The Raptors’ direction in the next update of these rankings will be determined by how well they hold down the fort without names like Pascal Siakam and Precious Achiuwa. Despite losing to them earlier, they could put some distance between them and a Hawks team that has struggled with being defensively consistent.

Memphis and Washington came into the year at totally different ends of the expectation spectrum, yet they find themselves with almost identical records right now. Things will likely even out, however, as the Wizards lack great depth and the Grizzlies have a star in Ja Morant.
