The Toronto Raptors are back on the right track, as they followed two very difficult losses against the Pelicans and Nets with a dominant victory against the Orlando Magic. Despite that, the latest Toronto Raptors odds aren’t as optimistic about their ability to win two in a row against an elite contender.

The Boston Celtics may be the best team in the league, as interim coach Joe Mazzulla has this team in possession of the best offense in the league and a defense that was good enough to hold the Nets in check for an entire game. Simply put, this team is as good as it gets.

Pascal Siakam and the rest of Toronto’s much-discussed starting lineup will have their work cut out for them tonight, as Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are both playing some of the best ball of their careers while surrounded by multiple role players who are striving under Mazzulla.

Will the Raptors emerge from tonight as one of the few teams in the league that has been able to topple the mighty Celtics? Will Boston exploit Toronto’s iffy wing defense and take them down piece by piece from beyond the 3-point line?

Boston Celtics vs. Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook have Boston as -1.0 favorites against the spread, with this squad -110 (bet $110 to win $100) to cover. Boston is -108 on the moneyline, while Toronto also checks in at -108 (bet $108 to win $100).

The over-under is 227.5, with the over and the under both at -110.

Toronto Raptors vs. Boston Celtics Prediction

Even though Toronto has the means to corral both Tatum and Brown, that won’t change the fact that five Celtics rotation players are currently shooting over 43% from 3-point range. This is not the matchup that a recently suspect perimeter defense needs.

While OG Anunoby and Christian Koloko will go some way to helping Toronto corral Boston’s much-hyped offense, any one of their bench shooters getting hot could sink their ship, irrespective of how Siakam and the rest of the stars perform.

Celtics 115, Raptors 109
