Raptors Game Tonight: Raptors vs Lakers Odds, Starting Lineup, Injury Report, Predictions, TV Channel for Dec. 7
By Mike Luciano
The Toronto Raptors have lost three of their last four games, though they are starting a stretch of winnable games that could end up playing a big part in their final position in the Eastern Conference. The latest Toronto Raptors odds have them taking advantage of that schedule and picking up a big win against a veteran team.
The Los Angeles Lakers have overcome a pitiful start to the season and have since established themselves as a team that needs to be taken somewhat seriously. Anthony Davis has been otherworldly over the last few games, and Russell Westbrook has found a home on the bench.
With Fred VanVleet in a big shooting slump and Toronto one date with Orlando away from a long losing streak, the urgency is starting to get dialed up a notch. In a crowded East, every win is precious, especially against teams below the .500 mark.
Will the Raptors be able to get back on track against LeBron James by finding their touch from 3-point range? Will the Lakers look to bounce back from a tough night in Cleveland and exact revenge on a Raptors team playing some very disjointed basketball lately?
Los Angeles Lakers vs. Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under
The latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook have Toronto as -1.0 favorites against the spread, with this squad -106 (bet $106 to win $100) to cover. Toronto is -420 on the moneyline, while Los Angeles also checks in at +330(bet $100 to win $330).
The over-under is 229, with the over and the under both at -110.
Raptors Injury Report
Precious Achiuwa and Otto Porter Jr. are both out for this game, while Juancho Hernangomez is going to miss his second straight.
Toronto Raptors vs. Los Angeles Lakers Prediction
While a healthy Davis would have been a nightmare for this Raptors team, it looks like Toronto will catch a break due to AD being either inactive or comprised. Given how tough their schedule has been, this was much needed.
The Lakers may still cover the spread, however. Toronto is far from a great offensive team, and the threat of James in the lineup is still too great for Nurse to overlook completely. However, a strong offensive game from Pascal Siakam and O.G. Anunoby should be enough to seal the victory.
Raptors 111, Lakers 104
