The Toronto Raptors are in dire straits right now, as they stand below the .500 mark at 13-14 and are embarking on a stretch of 13 straight games against teams with winning records. At least the latest Toronto Raptors odds have them favored against a Western Conference foe at home.

The Sacramento Kings are putting together a very valiant effort in their quest to break the sport’s longest playoff drought. The “Beam Team” has a terrific inside-outside combination with Domantas Sabonis in the paint and De’Aaron Fox making noise on the perimeter.

Defending Mike Brown’s new-look offense will be tough enough as it is, and doing so with multiple high-end defenders on the shelf is going to be even harder. These are your grandma’s Kings who could be counted as an easy victory on most nights.

Will the Raptors find some way to get back on track against a Kings team who just played in Philadelphia last night? Will Sacramento rebound and send Toronto tumbling even further down toward the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings?

Sacramento Kings vs. Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook have Toronto as -5.0 favorites against the spread, with this squad -110 (bet $110 to win $100) to cover. Toronto is -198 on the moneyline, while Sacramento checks in at +166 (bet $100 to win $166).

The over-under is 232.5, with the over and the under both at -110.

Raptors Injury Report

Precious Achiuwa and Otto Porter Jr. are both out for this game, and O.G. Anunoby will miss at least another week. Juancho Hernangomez is questionable.

Toronto Raptors vs. Sacramento Kings Prediction

If a depleted Magic team is apparently too much to handle, an energetic young Kings squad that can stuff the statsheet in a hurry might not be the best game for Toronto to get back on track. Even a vulnerable Sacramento defense may not completely break against Toronto’s suspect offense.

One of two things needs to happen for a victory. Either a Pascal Siakam masterclass or Fred VanVleet renaissance will push Toronto back into the winners’ column. Without that, Toronto may find it difficult to keep pace with a team that is stacked with quality shooters.

Kings 115, Raptors 113
