2. Chris Boucher

Boucher started the year in fine form, making his three-year contract from the past free agency window look like a relative bargain. The last few weeks have seen his momentum completely erode, as he earned a tongue-lashing from Nurse and the dreaded DNP-CD once again.

After a weird three-game malaise in which Boucher played just 22 minutes, the stringy Canadian recorded 13 points and seven rebounds in a performance against the Grizzlies. Just one day later against Phoenix, however, Boucher had just seven points and two boards while registering a nasty -20 mark.

Chris Boucher must give the Toronto Raptors some consistency.

Toronto goes into every game knowing they are at a size disadvantage in the paint, so the energy Boucher will bring on the offensive glass when he’s at his best is a must-have for the Raptors whenever they face elite competition in the Eastern Conference. The last few games haven’t been good enough.

The Raptors have some clear holes to fill on the roster, meaning that everyone could potentially be on the market. With Boucher becoming eligible to be moved on the 15th, he needs to start showing these skills that enticed Toronto in free agency with more frequency.
