Small Forward: Bogdan Bogdanovic, Atlanta Hawks

The similarly-named Bojan Bogdanovic might be a better player, but he could be very expensive. Atlanta needs to maximize the Trae Young-Dejounte Murray partnership, and they may decide to part with role players like Bogdanovic in pursuit of a third star. Toronto could take them up on that offer by acquiring the ultra-consistent veteran.

Bogdanovic has averaged 15.6 points per game on 44/39/86 shooting splts in his career with the Hawks, showing that he can bring the juice this team so desperately needs on the bench. A 6-6 guard with handles, Bogdanovic has plenty of traits to gush over. He has one year remaining on his contract.

Toronto Raptors trade rumors: Bogdan Bogdanovic has a high floor.

The Hawks have some promising young talents in AJ Griffin, Jalen Johnson, and Onyeka Okongwu who need to be given elevated roles. Once the youth movement around Murray and Young is put into motion, Bogdanovic could be a man without a position in the near future.

If the Raptors want to add a veteran with one year left on his contract, very few will be able to provide more two-year value than Bogdanovic. With or without Gary Trent Jr. in the lineup, the new-look Raptors will benefit significantly from having Bogdanovic around.
