While Henderson will be the first point guard off the board, either George or Kentucky’s Cason Wallace will likely be the next one that gets picked. Wallace could be the best two-way fit right now, but George might have the higher pure offensive ceiling of the two prospects.

George has averaged 17.4 points and 4.6 rebounds for a Bears team that has built its entire operation around making him a star. His creativity as a scorer is exceptional, and it goes to show that he can be a primary offensive option and ball-handler at the next level.

The Toronto Raptors might land a star in Keyonte George.

The problem with George right now is efficiency, as he shoots 39% from the field. Perhaps those numbers will pump up when he gets to the pros, and defenses don’t go into games with the expressed purpose of taking him down. Toronto is certainly banking on that.

George might be the riskier option when compared to a player like Wallace, but something tells me a team that took Scottie Barnes when every single analyst in the world had the picking Jalen Suggs won’t be deterred by that risk. If he clicks, the Raptors will have drafted an All-Star.
