The Toronto Raptors may not be as well represented on All-Star weekend as they have in past seasons, but they did send a few of their best and brightest to Salt Lake City. Pascal Siakam was named an All-Star for the second time in his career, while Scottie Barnes was named to the Rising Stars game.

Barnes will be a part of a four-team competition coached by a collection of basketball greats in Deron Williams, Joakim Noah, and Pau Gasol. While three of the teams consist of first and second-year players, a fourth squad coached by Jason Terry features G League sensations.

The Raptors stud, who made himself a bit of a pariah last All-Star Weekend after a poor performance in the Skills Competition alongside Tyrese Maxey, is seeking redemption on a fairly grand scale. Is he going to get it? The only way to find out is to tune in yourself.

NBA All-Star Weekend Rising Stars Game: How to watch Scottie Barnes.

Barnes will take the floor at 9:00 PM ET. Canadian fans should tune into Sportsnet, while American viewers can watch the game on TNT. Fans who decided to cut the cord will also be able to catch the Sal Lake City festivities on streaming services like FuboTV and SlingTV.

Barnes is averaging 15.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game during his second season. While he hasn’t had the statistical leap that many expected, Barnes has been more effective as a playmaker despite so many big names fighting for space on any given night.

Barnes will be mic’d up at practice, which fans can tap in to see on the NBA app. With Scottie’s electric and gregarious personality serving as one of the hallmarks of his Raptors tenure, this could be a very cool opportunity for the rest of the NBA world to be introduced to the guy Toronto fans love.

The rest of the NBA world is still not fully aware of what Barnes can bring to the table, as they settle for snide mockery on Twitter rather than actually taking the time to observe him. perhaps a strong showing in this game can go some way toward beefing up his reputation.
