The Toronto Raptors had some representation during All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City. Not only was second-year standout Scottie Barnes a part of a Rising Stars team that won their respective competition, but Pascal Siakam was an All-Star nominee for the second time in his career.

Siakam was documenting everything on video, all while doing his best Shaquille O’Neal impression thanks to an old-school camcorder. There’s no guarantee Siakam will be back in this game later in his career, so getting every bit of his Salt Lake excursion on film makes sense.

While Siakam has tested that the footage he has taken will eventually be edited into a longer movie that properly chronicles All-Star weekend, he has released shorter snippets of his All-Star journey on Twitter already. The Raptors star was right in the think of the All-Star festivities.

His “Night Three” video showed him getting prepared for the 2023 All-Star game, shouting out Vin Diesel, getting close with LeBron James, and having the time of his life during the Burna Boy halftime show. Raptors fans need to see the remaining footage from Siakam’s second-ever All-Star trip.

Toronto Raptors: Pascal Siakam recorded everything on All-Star Weekend.

Siakam and Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell managed to share a fun moment, as Mitchell mocked Pascal’s propensity to yell when fouled. Maybe Mitchell is a bit bitter about the fact that Toronto has beaten his team multiple times this season.

Siakam shared a video of him watching Mac McClung’s heroics in the Slam Dunk Contest. he also managed to get a few soundbites from longtime NBA star Kenyon Martin Sr, who was watching his son Kenyon Jr. perform alongside McClung, Trey Murphy III, and Jericho Sims.

Siakam scored 12 points and recorded seven rebounds as a member of Giannis Antteokounmpo’s victorious All-Star team. While the effort on defense was nonexistent for both teams, it was nice to see Siakam get some extended time on the court against the league’s best.

In much the same way as Barnes, Siakam hasn’t been able to promote his gregarious personality due to the fact he is often hidden away in Toronto. All-Star weekend was an excellent chance for Siakam to shine in front of a basketball world that isn’t always aware of his skills.
