Fred VanVleet and the Toronto Raptors have a very promising opportunity to make up some ground in their Eastern Conference postseason chase. Now equipped with veteran guard Will Barton, Toronto is prepared to go on the attack against a potential play-in team.

Barton’s old team in the Washington Wizards are welcoming Toronto to town for a two-game set. All three of their Hydra heads in Bradley Beal, Kristaps Porzingis, and Kyle Kuzma are averaging more than 20 points per game this season.

Washington has the scoring skill needed to pile up the points in a hurry, making it even more important for VanVleet and the offense to start off strong and make sure that the Raptors start their road trip off with a bang.

Is Fred VanVleet playing vs. Wizards

After VanVleet welcomed his third child to his family, Fred is going to suit up against Washington. After a poor game against Chicago, VanVleet will need to shake off the rust somehow.

Is Kristaps Porzingis playing vs. Raptors?

After missing the last few games due to some knee soreness, Porzingis is going to return to the Washington starting lineup. The 7-3 Latvian could be a handful against a Raptors team that is still lacking size.
