Raptors vs Pistons injury report for March 24: Is Scottie Barnes playing?
By Mike Luciano
Scottie Barnes and the Toronto Raptors had to feel pretty good after a 3-1 stretch in which they took down some very promising teams, but their home loss against an Indiana Pacers team that was playing without Tyrese Haliburton snapped them right back to reality.
Not only did it show how lost this team can be without Gary Trent Jr. in the lineup, but it continued a puzzling trend of this team just not showing up when needed to. The Detroit Pistons could send Toronto down a serious spiral if they manage to sneak out a win.
The Pistons may be the worst team in the league in the eyes of many, but they have played Toronto tough multiple times. Head coach Dwane Casey loves going against his old team, and the Raptors need to do everything possible to prevent him from winning this one.
Is Scottie Barnes playing vs. Pistons?
Barnes has officially been ruled questionable to play in this game with a wrist injury. The MRI showed that there is nothing serious, but Barnes is still quite sore in that area. Barnes is fresh off missing a tough home loss against a beat-up Pacers team.
Is Bojan Bogdanovic playing vs. Raptors?
Bogdanovic, a Raptors trade target once upon a time who has made a habit of slicing them up when he comes to play them, is officially ruled out. Bogdanovic is dealing with an Achilles injury, and Detroit’s lousy record likely helped influence the decision not to play him.
