The contract: Four years, $20 million (2010)

Following four solid years with the Denver Nuggets, after being a late first-round pick during the 2005 NBA Draft, Kleiza elected to leave the NBA and sign a contract overseas with the Greek League team Olympiacos. He would go on to lead the league in scoring by averaging 17 points per contest.

He had such a great season with Olympiacos that he decided to make the pivot back to the NBA when the Toronto Raptors came calling. Unfortunately, his success would not follow him to Canada.

Linas Kleiza struggled with the Toronto Raptors.

He would sign a four-year deal with the Raptors during the 2010 NBA offseason. However, his tenure with the Raptors was everything but a success. Plagued by injuries, Kleiza would only play in 108 games over the three seasons that he spent with the club before they elected to use their amnesty clause on him.

Kleiza had his moments during his time with the Raptors but was a far cry from the player the team hoped they would be getting. In his best year with the team, that first season before his knee injury, Kleiza averaged 11 points and five rebounds on 44 percent shooting from the field.
