8. Dariq Whitehead, SF, Duke

Whitehead struggled with injuries and underperformance during his lone season at Duke, but he started to come on strong in the second half. Some team is going to get an absolute steal if he can get back on track inside the arc on the offensive side of the ball.

7. Keyonte George, PG, Baylor

George has some serious efficiency concerns that might weigh down his stock, but the Raptors will likely assume that his poor efficiency was the result of poor support around him. George has enough electricity in his game to become a long-term starter in the NBA.

Toronto Raptors draft: Is Nick Smith worth the risk?

6. Nick Smith, SG, Arkansas

Smith’s collegiate season was a nightmare, as he barely played and was wildly inconsistent. If he can stay healthy, everything about Smith’s player profile suggests that he could come into a team like the Raptors and assume a role as a prized bench gunner for years to come.

5. Gradey Dick, SG, Kansas

Dick will never be a good defender, but his 3-point shot is such a deadly tool to have in his arsenal that it will be hard to envision him calling more than one or two picks out of the lottery. With how bad Toronto’s shooting was last year, no one would have a problem with a Dick selection.
